Nothing could shock us in mathematics II! ^^ We were already familiar with the speed of Mr. Gillert and knew that he’s really ambitious but fair. So did all this set-theory, boolean algebra, relations and natural numbers. In the end we knew will be a manageable test. So it was!

We were really surprised about dealing with C++ in the 2nd semester. Just some single students had experiences with the language and I am very thankful for their help. In this case I have to mention Ruby who is a real good C++-Coder and already knew the computer graphics basics. He did the main work and this leads to a quite good mark.
Now I have to tell something about the lecturer Mr. Stratmann. In my opinion he is not very committed. A lot of readings were cancelled and the ones took place were not really good. Maybe he have a clue of computer graphics but I didn’t caught a lot in his courses. So I am happy to passed this course! ^^

Bei der überaus charmante Frau Schirmer-Rusch haben wir alles in allem einen recht lockeren aber doch interessanten Kurs über Führungsverhalten, -fehler und richtige Kommunikation gelernt. Häufig waren Rollenspiele mit anschließender Auswertung das Lehrmittel der Dozentin. In diesem Kurs musste man statt eine Klausur zu schreiben einen Vortrag halten. Dummerweise war ich den Tag zuvor Ordner beim WM-Spiel Brasilien – Kroatien, so dass mein Kollegen Marko und Ruby schon mal ohne mich den Vortrag beginnen mussten. Ich kam pünktlich zu den sich anschließenden Fragen ;-(

The target of this course was to become a great JAVA coder. Mr. Solymosi has a special method to teach JAVA (object oriented programming). Firstly the students learned how to use classes from the legendary ‘lehrbuch.jar’ and filling the buckets with wine or water. After that beginning the students learned the basics like loops, if-statements etc.. This special method gained a some friends but a lot more critics.

Oh Mr. Merei belongs to the lecturer category: ‘strange’. Right anwsers were rewarded with peanuts which came directly from the pockets near the other nuts. His voice was strong enough to teach up to row 3 and the rest ….
Luckily a smart person organizes the lovely ‘Doro’ to take some of that burden from Emils shoulders. Her lessons were well structured and the learning success increased extremely.
